Deacon Vincent shared, “Surely one of the best known scripture quotations is “I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.” It was said by Jesus, as the Good shepherd, speaking about his sheep. What does a good and abundant life mean to you?” Mrs Du Plooy said, “For me a nice home for us and the kids, a job, enough money at least not to be constantly stressed about it. Is that unreasonable?” Jacob thought to himself, “having any kind of home would be very nice.” Musi added, “It is also about good relationships, feelings of belonging.” Marissa also added, “Spiritual fulfilment, a sense of acceptance of God’s will, whatever that might be. No one knows these days that even if we stay in lockdown that virus could still be passed on by someone.” Patience suggested, “we parents might have different ideas to our kids so I think we should ask them too.”
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly. John 10:10.
