Precious Water. “Ubuntu Family Thought for the Day March 13

March 13thMarisa shared in her family group.  “I read a post on facebook that someone discovered that the river Nile did originate in South Africa. The town Nylstroom, now renamed Modimolle, in Limpopo is built alongside the river and the Egyptian government is going to build a big resort there especially for Egyptian tourists.” “You lie,” “Nonsense,” “Can’t be. Why would Egyptians want to come here?” “Ha, ha, caught you,  Fake News!” she laughed, but not everyone enjoys being made fun, fed fake news or believes April Fool is OK.  But let’s think just how precious water is and has been throughout the ages. Is it not a miracle in itself?”

On the banks on both sides of the river there will grow all kinds of trees for food.  Their leaves will not wither nor their fruit fail, but they will bear fresh fruit every month because the water for them flows from the sanctuary.  Ezekiel 47: 8-9.

Pope Francis: Access to safe drinkable water is a basic and universal human right, since it is essential to human survival and as such is a condition for the exercise of other human rights.  LS 30
