“This Extraordinary Mission month has been good for me,” Roy shared, “and I think we needed this kind of impetus to have a small group sharing. We have the bible, our daily readings, our rosary groups all the time but a living experience like this, sharing our lives has brought the gospel to life more for me.” Justine smiled, “Funny how we sat under this great big mustard tree and did our sharing.”
Is the kingdom of God like? It is like a grain of mustard seed which a man took and sowed in his garden and it grew and became a tree and the birds of the air made nests in its branches. Luke 13:18-21.
Pope Francis: The Gospel is the leaven which causes the dough to rise and the city on the hill whose light illumines all peoples. It will always remain good news until it has been proclaimed to all people, until it has brought all men and women together at table in God’s kingdom. EG 237
