Eighth Station: Jesus confirms the faith of Thomas.
“Jesus we honour you.” Response:“Thank you Lord Jesus for all you have done for us.”
Thomas was not with them when Jesus came, and he refused to believe. Eight days later the disciples were in the house, The doors were closed but Jesus came and stood among them. He said to Thomas: “Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Look at my hands! Doubt no longer, but believe!” Thomas said: “My Lord and my God!” Jesus replied: “You believe because you can see me. Blessed are they who will believe without having seen me.” Read John 20:24-29
Share: Discuss how many things we believe that we cannot see, e.g. wind, electricity. Is Jesus real to you? Would you touch his wounds?
Pray. God, our Father, we praise and thank you for new life in Jesus. May we grow ever closer to you in following his way.
