April 13th. “You know what happened in our prayer group?” Ma Jozie asked when she got home. ”These two women started arguing about whether a divorced and remarried woman should be allowed to go to communion It really got quite vicious as if both of them really thought they were right. Mr Percival said this was one of the questions the Church considered at length in the Synods of the Family.  Strictly speaking according to the rules it is not allowed, but Pope Francis and others have said that the Church should also practise mercy.”
