Commitment. Ubuntu Family Thought for the Day 11 April

April 11th. Busi picked up the sharing from the day before.  “You can see not everyone thought like those followers did, willing to give up everything. What intrigues me is that the Jewish leaders were jealous that those people were so committed to their beliefs and to each other that they were prepared to give up what they owned.  I wonder if the Jews had a guilty conscience because they were not living the way they should.” “I can learn something from that too. It seems funny but I do feel jealous sometimes when I see really good committed people.”

Filled with jealousy they arrested the apostles and put them in prison. At night an angel of the Lord opened the prison doors and brought them out and said,  ‘Go and stand in the temple and speak to the people all the words of this Life.’  Acts 5:17-19.

Pope Francis.  The preaching of Jesus is made visible once more in the response of faith Christians are called to offer by their witness. He who does acts of mercy, let him do them with cheerfulness. Rom 12:8)
