Hello Mary!

This is an activity booklet for young children and their families built around the Hail Mary prayer and Mary our mother. Children can read, draw and sing together with their families.

Our Heritage

A publication for children up to age 12 and their families or teachers.  Some questions we as family people could ask "Where on earth did you come from and where in heaven do you think you're going?" Our South African Rainbow Nation has many different cultural as well as religious groups.  Explore some of these and reflect on your own background.  Educational as well as enjoyable!

One Faith, Two Religions

The majority of Catholics marry someone from another denomination.  The stresses and strains of managing two religions often result in both dropping out of active participation in their own church. From a Catholic perspective such couples also receive the Sacrament of Matrimony and have a calling to unity.  How can we as Church minister to them?

STATIONS OF THE CROSS FOR FAMILIES

This is a series of simple reflections linking aspects of family life with the traditional 14 Stations plus the 15th Station, the Resurrection.  There are many experiences in family life of betrayal, failure, comforting and helping others that can help us to understand this final journey of Jesus.

STATIONS OF THE CROSS FOR WIDOWED PEOPLE.

The loss of a spouse is a journey of great suffering. Linking our experiences with the events of the Passion and finally the Resurrection can help the bereaved in their relationship with God. Through reflecting on the Passion and the Resurrection they can receive a degree of comfort and healing.
It is the journey of Toni’s own “becoming widowed” process.
